What are "Book Cents"?

Books Cents represents a community monetary system that {tcn} uses to track account activity and to credit student accounts. You receive Book Cents in many ways within the {tcn} community. As your Book Cents total grows you can see your account cash value grow. To view your Book Cents Total, login to your account and click on book cents under the profile drop down menu.

What can I do to receive Book Cents?

There are numerous ways to build your Book Cents account up. You can start by uploading your class notes, course material and study guides for your classmates to download. You can get extra Book Cents by rating your professors, leaving feedback on notes you download and referring friends to join The Campus Notebook.

How many Book Cents do I need before I can cash out?

You must have a total of 2,500 or more Book Cents in your account to receive payment. If you have more than 2,500 Book Cents and you cash out you will receive the full amount owed to you.

How and when do I receive my payment once I cash out?

If you supplied your Paypal account email address when you registered with The Campus Notebook we will send your payment to your paypal account. If no Paypal email address is supplied at registration you can add it within your account settings. Please allow up to 10 business days before you receive payment.

What is Note Feedback?

Note Feedback is left by Campus Notebook members who have downloaded your notes. Depending on the quality of notes users will leave a positive, neutral or negative rating along with a comment on your note quality. The higher your feedback the more likely your notes will be downloaded rewarding you with more Book Cents.

The distribution of previous exams and permanently returned graded materials to ensure equal access to study materials is a policy called for by many university policies and instructor handbooks. Policies regarding the use of The Campus Notebook can vary by university, department, course, and instructor. The Campus Notebook is not affiliated in any way or form with any university; therefore we encourage all of our members to know, understand, and adhere to all policies and/or Honor Codes that govern them.

The Campus Notebook strongly suggests you refer to each syllabus that you receive in every class. If you have any questions about the acceptable use of The Campus Notebook, ask your instructor for clarification. If you are still unsure, do not hesitate to contact your Honor System.
